So the following is due to the fact that one lame comic is trying to use me for everything wrong with his own life. He is one of the despised humans in canada and never takes responsibility for his own fuck ups. I had stopped caring about this but since he continually tries to slam me in public and to other comedy clubs I chose to air the dirty laundry he keeps using to defend his lame existance.
Here is the story:
This comic did a weekend and then posted a horrible slam of some of my fellow comics who i like and respect. So off came the gloves....many comics were upset but only a few got the heat from richard. Richard keeps saying shit but forgets that I had the orginal blog...so now there is no running richard. No changing the facts...no saying I never said that.
Prior to posting this I only emailed this to two people..one is richards good friend who asked me for it and once yesterday to someone who richard spoke to about this very thing a few days ago. I know richard is not very good at telling every thing that happened. By 11 am the morning he posted this I received five phone calls from comics .....so don't blame me for the witch hunt richard...the fire already started.
Richard now says that the east needed him cause he is such a great headliner....Bring it on fuckface....

Sunday and I missed Church
Feeling very rough today. I have been headlining in Missisagua (sp) this week. One more show tonight. The shows have been BRUTAL. The audiences are okay, but the acts on the show, and the manager of the club clearly don't give a shit. Everynight Shannon Laferty - the emcee, went long. Way Long. Emcee's are supposed to do 15 or 20 off the top and five in between. Thursday Shannon (a very pleasant haridresser from Toronto- is a jolly person ie Fat) did 25 off the top and ten between. Friday she did thirty and last night 35 FUCKING MINUTES OFF THE TOP.
Meanwhile the middle act Roy Daye (a very pleasant Jamaican man ei. Obvious and Vulgar) did an ever increasing amount of time so by last night his 25 minute set ran about 35. So last night, the show started at 9:30, and I didn't get on the stage till 10:50. UNBELIEVEABLE!!!
Ironically the last time I toured out here, I only got one bad report, and it was from Mississagua, because I went long! But now apparently it's okay to go obscenely long when I headlining. XXXX, the manager, is as last and self-involved as any manager I have worked with. She is a lesbian,(which is good because she has the appearance of a 14 year old skateboarder) and her girlfriend is one of the waitresses. They like to sit out back in the parking lot on folding deck chairs and smoke and chat. I don't believe XXXX has heard one joke I've told. She's short staffed (isn't that the manager's job to make sure you have staff?) so she's waiting table on the busy shows. she looks very uncomfortable do any work, and so the show is off the rails. I have done my time every night, and have said nothing to anyone except the kitchen staff about this situation.
I simply can't afford to say what I think, because I know it'll come back and bite me in the ass. Besides, Shannon's been giving me a ride out to this shit hole and back, so I don't need to fuck that up. I really have no choice but to not give a shit as well. One more show and then I will be done with Shannon and her endlessly chit chatting on the stage. (I'm sure this patter holds up as a hair dresser, but on the stage, it's endless and amateurish.) And Roy and his Uncle Tom grin that follows every punchline, and XXXX and her shitty club. One more night.
After the show, I hooked up with Neal Murphy, Brett Martin and John Levebrve at the Wheat Sheaf then back to the house in Forest Hills and ended up listening to my CD for the first time and watching "Sideways" while drinking cognac till dawn. As a result, I passed out and missed church. Nothing to be done. It happens. I'll be forgiven

It is one thing to go after someone who did something personal to you but for just going long. In your own words she never went that long. Out here in the east MC's can do 25 off the top and then 10 in the middle.
Sure one night sounds like she went long but to go as far as you did seems lame. If you are the headliner and want to play with the big boys you have to suck it up. I mean it is one thing to bitch at other comics over lunch about someone going long but to get so personal on a blog seems desperate.
You got on at the hour twenty mark...try going on at the hour forty five at the superclub...that is the norm my friend.What is even more pathetic is that you used her for the ride before hacking on her professionally and personally.
If you truly believed what you felt take the subway 2.50..then cab to the club 15 dollars each way. So what you are saying is: pride is not worth 35 bucks.
Then you have the nerve to call someone an uncle tom in a blog but not to his face. I am sure the size of Roy Daye had nothing to do with that. Then you make fun of the sexual orientation of the manager of the club. Sounds like you were running out of excuses on your sets.
Hey you might have killed but from your prose it does not sound like it...more like I am trying to hit the side of a buffalo with a pea shooter from three feet to hide the truth.
My final note is please forward a link to the person who called you the "Canadian George Carlin". In the article in the Gazzette it says "He has been called the canadian george carlin" they actually don't call you that. In the interview you could have said that line and they quoted you and now you use the quote.
For now on I am going to say I am the canadian version of carrot top and Kierkegaard. So since this appeared in the richard letts blog I am going to use the quote
