What are you lookin at?

I rarely make new years resolution cause I feel that if there is a problem in september I don't wait till january to try and fix it. That is what I don't like about NYR. By waiting you are just putting it off. I try and have daily resolutions and find they are just as hard to try to keep but at least I am doing it in the now.

The one NYR I love the most are the ones by comics. Most are chasing a monkey on their back and are using this as an epiphany moment to try and deal with it. Most are hoping to get something or change their ways a little to make themselves more likeable etc.

"I am going to work harder and get a certian tv show/festival blah blah blah"

"I am going to try and be nicer to people"

Which really means be a little more fake so I can be accepted. Why is it none of them ever want to write more new jokes or try and get fresher stuff or just be funnier.

That is my NYR to try and write some new stuff so I never have to tell certain jokes. Some nights I feel if I have to tell the Gretzky story one more time I am going to shoot myself in the head. Hey I might not get funnier but I am going to die tryin.
