No one likes a kiss ass period.

One of the few things I am proud of in my career is that I have never ever kissed ass for anything. Yes that means it is not easy to get ahead, and yes it can be a downer at times how hard the road is. I never have done it

Some comics love to spend all their time kissing ass and thanking people so their little world wont change. "you are the best" "thank you for being you". I have always appreciated the fact that people get me work and that I am not an easy sell but that is where it stops. I do my thanking in person and privately.

I feel it is a two way street..more times then not I am saving shows from the suck fairies. Therefore they are happy that I do the show and I am happy for it. That is not bragging folks that is fact. Unfortunately I am not the only one who this happens to. Many comics no matter what position on a show will be the one who saves it.

Comedy is changing and so are audiences. They don't want to sit and hear the same old shit and have to pay 18 bucks.

It is no different on a movie set or commercial shoot. You can spot the ass kisser from a mile away and instantly start to shutter.

Why do they do it...insecure ..for sure....lack of talent..well of course.

I think it is beause they like the taste of ass.
