in the last week pauly shore that mongoloid fuck put up a video of him getting punched and tried to get publicity from a setup. the problem is that this thing happens more then you know. By making a joke of it in this context is not a smart move in my opinion. The next time someone gets punched people are going to laugh and think it is part of the show.
In the last three months (if you read my blog) you will see that there has been at least five times where exchanges with hecklers could have became physical. When alcohol is involved with schoolyard bully tactics that is a bad mix.
For the last eight months I have been saying there should be Zero Tolerance for this kind of thing. If you heckle you have to leave period. If that was the case then heckling would stop very quickly. That would also mean that the club would have to hire more doorstaff.
In the last six years this is the one area that comedy clubs are trying to save money. In one case a club had no doorman..no manager. I actually had to seat the audience so everyone could fit. People were saying "hey aren't you on the show"
"yes I am and here is your table for six"
What is it going to take before people realize how wrong this is. Does someone have to get Dimebagged. Dimebagg was a great guitarist who was shot on stage last year. I am sorry but my life is worth more then 40 drunks laughing while one sits and considers taking it to the next level.
When I come back I will post the story of my first death threat
