What are you lookin at?

So I went downstairs and did a set on another pro-am night at the double yuk.

The show went well but something happened.

There was a comic who did very well but had a joke that another comic in toronto had been doing for years.

When I was in vancouver two years ago I had seen the same comic and he had a joke that was not his either.

I am always surprised when I see a comic do someone elses joke in a small scene like vancouver. Not hacking on it's size but when it is this small everyone knows everyone you would think that this shit would not happen.

But it does

I wanted to ignore it to be honest but i couldn't. I tried to walk away and listen to a song to forget it

But I couldn't

I tried to justify it...maybe I should not say anything cause maybe it is parallel thinking for a second time

But I couldn't

So instead i told another local comic to say something

See ..I didn't bite anyone in the face

I didn't scream or jump around

The wort part is the comic had some funny stuff that seemed like it might be originally his but with the two strikes against him it is hard to be objective.

Don't comics ask around anymore...when I get a new thought for a bit I always ask around especially if it is not a current event.

I guess they don't

People only want to raise their game so they can get a big laugh and get their tv deal i guess.

Me I am just trying to write a new five that has not been done before and works.
