What are you lookin at?

I use to do a joke about Christopher Reeve. It made some people upset but it always killed. After the show there would always be some woman who disliked the joke. On you tube I have a story right now about a similar case.

I always listen to people who have a problem with my jokes if they approach me in an intelligent non drunk way. In this case a woman was quite upset with the joke and while she was reading me her riot act from her moral ground, a guy in a wheelchair rolled up. Her wanted to buy a couple of my DVD's. That night I did the ten minute bit on the handicapped as well as that joke. I turn to here and say

"see he doesn't have a problem with it"

He turns to the woman and says

"fuck you"

then he turns and wheels away

She says
"See he is sick like you"

Now why is that story important, well for two reasons ..I always love when someone outside of a group gets offended for the group while the actual group is fine with it. And number two, I always laugh at society how they determine what is fine to make fun of and what is not. What is socially acceptable... well making fun of the handicapped is wrong but making fun of the French is cool. What is there is a guy in a wheelchair that is French. We can’t see he is French so does that make it ok. I mean what if I make fun of Christopher Reeve with a dumb guy French accent is that a hate crime.

No matter who we make fun of there will always be people upset. You can find the nicest guy in the world but there is still someone who will say "fuck that guy"..or the most hated and say "Sadamm looked really good in green" or "Hitler had a nice backhand in tennis"

In the last few days since the ajax problem, many comics have come up to me and said they thought the jokes were funny. The last two shows those jokes killed. On the richter scale of offensiveness those were not even on the meter compared to other jokes I have told on my nasty tours.

I also have never said that all other comics were lame and never would. I have said that there is a lot of lame comedy. Turn on the tv go see it live...ask any comic in this country with a name and they would agree with me. There are comics who disagree with me and that is fine as well.

At the end of the day I apologize to those who think all I do is just give my personal opinion and just rant. I didn't think that was a bad thing..in fact that is the point cause that is who I am. Opinionated and pigheaded

At the end of a most jokes someone gets hurt...I just have to write more that are socially acceptable jokes that hurt.
